Pre & Post Treatment Tips

  • 1) Avoid exfoliating the area including waxing, laser hair removal, and depilatory creams for 1 week prior to your peel.

    2) Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Keep your body and skin moisturized in the days leading up to your treatment.

    3) Avoid topical Retin-A, any acids, exfoliants, facial masks, self tanners and prescription skincare products for 3 days prior treatment.

    4) Wear SPF every day leading up to your treatment, and everyday after.

  • 1) Do not put anything on your face for 4 hours. To cleanse, use a gentle cleanser for the week post-treatment! After 6-7 days it's safe to resume your normal skincare regimen.

    2) Hold off on your retinol, glycolics, or any exfoliating products until all of the exfoliation and sensitivity has subsided (on average between day 7-10).

    3) Avoid sun exposure, tanning and self tanning products for 2 weeks - tanning beds are an absolute no-go as well. Remember SPF!

    4) Your provider will give you post-treatment kit to take home. Please make sure you follow instructions for best results.

    5) Avoid exercise and sweat-inducing activities for 72 - 96 hours.

    6) Keep your body and skin moisturized! We know it's tempting, but no picking, rubbing or premature removal of the skin.

  • This is a peel, so you'll definitely peel! We typically advise that you get this treatment in the evening or over the weekend as its immediate downtime is approximately 4 hours. You may see the early signs of exfoliation at the 24 hour mark. Peeling generally begins on Day 3 and ends on Day 7.

  • Precision Plus can improve skin tone, texture, hyperpigmentation, and melasma.

    Purify with Precision Plus can improve acne and acne scarring with consistent treatments.

    You'll see results starting around the mouth first - the forehead and the neck are the last to peel! For your face on day 3, 4 & 5 you will see the most exfoliation. By day 6, most exfoliation has subsided.

  • You can do this treatment if you have keratosis polaris and melasma. We do not recommend this for clients with sensitive skin or anyone with rosacea.

  • It's tingly, but surprisingly comfortable!
